Spotted this near the Crusting Pipe restaurant in Covent Garden – I wish I had gotten a pic of the sign for the restaurant since that’s such a fabulously weird name. I just liked the illustration on the sign and later learned that Punch and Judy got their start in Covent Garden. Bonus points for also learning that the Punch & Judy show is responsible for coining the portmanteau slapstick as a reference to Punch’s baton and inspiring one of my favorite forms of comedy.
