These were taken in different bathrooms in Tokyo and Kobe. Japanese toilets are no joke – RTFM! I have to say that these pics make things seem way more complicated than they are. As an option, if you want to be more minimalist, some public bathrooms also offer a hole in the floor. Yep that was a bit of a culture shock for me! Brings new meaning to the term “squatty potty”…or well, actually old meaning? Whatever, you know what I mean!
